About J. Ramanand
I created IZ in 2010, and write all the questions here. I’ve been an active quizzer and quizmaster for over two decades. In 2002, I became the youngest winner of BBC Mastermind India, a televised quiz show for top quizzers in India. I’ve hosted about 250+ quizzes around India, set over 10,000+ questions in my distinctive style mixing clues and clever framing, and have won a clutch of well-known quizzes. In 2014, I appeared as a guest expert on the popular Indian quiz show, Kaun Banega Crorepati.
I’m also the co-founder at Choose To Thinq, working to ensure future relevance for our clients.

Bonus Fact: the story behind the name
Infinite Zounds is a play on words on the phrase ‘Infinite Bounce’, a common term for a question passing system in Indian quizzing circles. ‘Zounds’ is an archaic term for surprise, usually used as a mild oath.
