Each #ThrowbackThursday, I bring back one question from my archives. This one is from 2011.
The famous musician Ustad Allauddin Khan created the “Maihar Band” by teaching music to a group of orphans. Among the many instruments played by the band was the “nal tarang”, consisting of several tubes. This instrument was invented by the Ustad himself (see photo below).
To create this, he reportedly reused tubes from what set of non-musical (but loud) artefacts?
